kauri dining table

This dining table measures 2100mm long by 900mm wide. The legs were constructed by laminating nine layers of ply between two external layers of handcut kauri veneers. The legs were formed in 2 alternate curved jigs, then after the legs were finished they were fixed to the horizontal rail by a biscuited scarf joint.
